Parent Partnership Service recruits Independent Parental Supporters (IPS) and other volunteers to:
- provide telephone support and advice
- meet with parents to give them information and practical help
- accompany parents on school visits and to meetings
- help with administrative support

We provide training for volunteers
- ongoing support and training
We provide support for volunteers
- a support worker and other staff who are available for one-to-one advice and information
- small groups for supervision and support that meet once a term
- support group meetings, bringing together all volunteers once a month
- being a volunteer with the Parent Partnership Service offers you ways of supporting people in a rewarding way, giving you space and support to learn and develop
- the opportunity to develop skills for employment and career
