Leicester Volunteer Centre has ambitious plans to involve 824 new young volunteers over three years.

Tricia Reynolds has recently been appointed to manage this project - Vinvolved and will be developing part time, short term and full time volunteering opportunities that will be inclusive of the many projects and programmes at Voluntary Action Leicester.

Joanne McCarthy, is the part time Sports Development officer. She will be developing sports opportunities in the community to promote the benefits of engaging more young people into physical activity, with a progression route to helping to organise and support the Special Olympics 2009.
