Delivering public services

"The VAL Team went out of their way to give me constructive advice. I feel that VAL are one of my trusted partners and are always willing to help me move my charity forward", Cooke E-learning Foundation.

Successive Governments have claimed to want to open up the delivery of public services to the voluntary sector. Their aim has been to create more efficient, effective and responsive services for the public. Therefore any group seeking to deliver public services needs to be able to subscribe to excellence and quality in service delivery at a competitive price. Local groups who may want to deliver public services need to become aware of the direction and emphasis of local public policy through VAL's policy forums (see the I want my say section of this website.)
